You might be asking what place do Broadway musicals have in
a Christian devotion book? My reason for combining the two
is when I was in community theatre so many of the songs dealt
with the world and with it&'s problems and indicated how, if we put our hope in ourselves and the world all things would be fine. It isfine and commendable to pick ourselves by our bootstraps but the advice in these songs only last for a short time or just until the next problem arises. To have a more permanent hope of overcoming life&'s problems we need more than ourselves. This is my reason for writing these few, and short devotions. I hope all who read them will feel the difference and take to heart what a Christian perspective can do to comfort you in times of your troubles. This is what I think
