About the Author

Jerry Mitchell should have been the average person. He was raised on a small grain and vegetable farm in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Church on Sunday morning with shoes shined the night before gave way to search for adventure - beginning at the bottom of the ocean followed by a climb to the mountains of Colorado with many exciting exploits along the way. With knowledge of large animal reproduction learned from managing a horse breeding farm, he was able to apply that to a more Western lifestyle. Being well suited for the rigors of high-mountain ranching, his no quit attitude earned him a reputation for getting things done among the people in that community, all the while raising a family and teaching them to never stop trying and never stop learning. His greatest adventure was about to be found in the pages of the Bible. Never being satisfied with the typical answers that everyone else accepted, he stumbled on a way to study and connect passages from the Bible most would overlook. His passion for the truth was led by one guiding light - for the Bible to be true, there can be no contradictions. Any contradiction must be due to mankind's misunderstanding of the Bible. From that simple concept, he chose to learn the original language of the Bible, but language was only part of the equation. The culture with the rich history of the Hebrew people would also be necessary to place the events and lessons from the Bible into proper perspective. Today far from average, Jerry along with his wife, Myra, have developed a ministry that reaches around the world. Give God 90 began with an offhand comment; "If people would live the way they were designed to live for 90 days, they would see how much their life would improve and keep going." That idea has spread around the world and continues to grow.Jerry enjoys spending time with his family and that includes skateboarding with his grandchildren even at his age.
