INSTANT READER ~~ Big Kids Read Book Two of Twelve Books: "Come and Play"
Instant Readers can be read instantly by beginning readers, with just a little help from a reading partner to get started. This series of twelve books includes all of the thirty kindergarten sight words. It’s easy and quick to learn to read the words because of repetition and picture clues.
The “big kids” in preschool, kindergarten and first grade are proud to be able to read and they are relieved that it’s easy. That’s what this series does: EASY. It’s easier to learn the sight words when they are presented this way, than in a list with a big mix of words and no illustrations.
New sight words in this book, Book Two, are: look, come, and, play, is, here, are. These words are presented with many other easy, illustrated high-interest words that the young student may begin to learn, too.
A student who has learned the LIST of kindergarten words may not really recognize the words in a book without some help and practice in reading them. This book does that. I am presently tutoring children who have finished kindergarten and learned some of the kindergarten sight words, but haven’t started to read yet. They will be in first grade in two months and they really need to be reading. The books in this series will help them to succeed to read the thirty kindergarten sight words, plus MORE easy basic reading vocabulary.
The next book in this series is Instant Reader Book Three, “Where is Fox?”
