In February of 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic, Esther Cloonan began to have anxiety nightmares. Together, her and her father began audio recording Esther talking about the nightmares in hopes of being able to work through them. The recordings were subsequently put to music and released under the name Bloody Nightmares, titled Examination of Fear. The project was met with positive reception and there was a desire for more. Fortunately for Esther, the project was a success, and she was able to learn how to work through her fears. Unfortunately for fans of Bloody Nightmares, this meant no more recordings.
It's All In Your Head, is the successor to Examination of Fear. The book follows Esther as she is forcefully sucked into her subconscious where she must face her nightmares again, this time face-to-face. The six-year-old with the blonde wavy hair must venture across an ever-changing landscape meeting new and old acquaintances in an effort to overcome her fear, see eye-to-eye with them, and make her way home.
