About the Author

Chanceé Lundy loves Jesus, Chitlins, TI and inspiring young women. It's Just High School is the brainchild of Chanceé. She was inspired to develop this book compilation because of the constant news of teenage girl issues that were often leading to tragic outcomes. She believes that through sharing the story of others these young ladies will know there is life on the other side of high school. Chanceé, a native of Selma, is a wife, mother, author, business owner, international speaker, social justice advocate, community conscious engineer and most important follower of Jesus Christ. She loves working with women and girls to help them achieve their full potential and talking to audiences about all things entrepreneurial.
Mrs. Lundy is a global citizen and has led and participated in trainings on social justice issues and engineering achievement in: Accra, Ghana; Mali, West Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; and Bosnia Herzegovina. In addition, she participated in the International Scholar Laureate Program's Delegation on Engineering to China. Ms. Lundy is a past National Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She has been recognized by US Black Engineer as one of the Top 100 Most Important Blacks In Technology and selected by Ebony Magazine as one of the 30 Leaders of the Future. She is the co-owner of Nspiregreen LLC a planning studio based in Washington, DC. She received her Master's in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. She is the Founder of Destination Liberation a non-profit organization dedicated to exposing, empowering and educating young women through cultural international travel.
