Overview

From something bad can come something good, although, for those involved at the time, it would not appear likely.

A high school in Ohio provides the scene for a community to reassess its value system.

And, a young sophomore’s efforts to become “part of the gang” take him down a path he would not have expected, but one which he would choose to stay on.

About the Author

Mark Howard lives in the beautiful rolling hills of rural Pennsylvania in the USA.

Writing began as a part time distraction, covering the antics of local critters, and the world around him. It was an interesting way of maintaining sanity during the long winters, and had less of an impact on his health than consuming red wine to pass the time.

It evolved since then into a passion, allowing him to share experiences he has had around the world, from Africa to Europe, to the USA, and elsewhere.

Having spent so much time travelling, he saw a new market evolve before him. People used to amuse themselves on airplanes with their laptops, and then along came the MP3 players. But, now there are the e-readers, and Mark has found a niche writing two hour novels in electronic format.

He wants his readers to be able to download an enjoyable book, spend a few hours reading the entire novel, and not destroy the trees which house the little critters he loves so much.

Each novel has a certain basis of truth from his life, but they are essentially non fiction.

Enjoy the books; they are fun, but always have an interesting twist to them somewhere along the line. Mark dispenses with lavish prose, preferring instead to enjoy sharing his experiences and imagination with you, his reader.
