About the Author

Author,W.M. Savage (pen name Renee Kohl), grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. After high school she relocated to Kansas where she received a bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Kansas. Ms. Savage later moved to Oklahoma where she worked for the State of Oklahoma as a social worker. She continued her education by obtaining a Masters of Education degree in English/Creative Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma. After which time, she began her professional writing career.
Ms. Savage has written three novels. Her first published novel is a coming-of-age novel titled It’s Time for Your Close-up written under her pen name Renee Kohl. Her second novel is a young adult historical fictional-fantasy series titled, The Sea Chest Novelettes. Her latest work is an adult historical fiction novel titled Camouflage: The Wereth Files.
As a retiree from public service, Ms. Savage spends her time writing, researching her creative works and traveling.
