Jack is a real Golden Doodle and was born on an Amish farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He has three sisters and two brothers as you will read in this children's book, all were sold weeks before Jack, as Jack is not your normal looking Golden Doodle. Most Golden Doodles usually look much more like a Poodle, large or small. Golden Doodle's do not shed (2nd generation only). Most Golden Doodles have the curly hair from the Poodle and are white or cream in color, but Jack looks like the Golden Retriever, reddish, brown, with curly hair around his legs and top of his head. The cover picture is a real picture of Jack at 12 weeks old.
Jack was born on April 17, 2016, and was purchased by Doug and Barb on August 1, 2016. He was born and raised on a farm with horses and other farm animals. He was named Sambo, by the Amish children of the owner. However, we preferred the name Jack. Most everything that happens in this story is true. I hope you enjoy it.
