Marty Koblish is a retired nurse and high school Principal. Her hobby of photography led her into a new career of nature and wildlife photography. Many of her photos are in permanent collections. Between having more time in her retirement and her love of animals and photography she has been able to focus more on her pets by using her camera. Her two Golden Retrievers and two domestic short hair cats have provided countless hours of antics that have led to the story of Max and Annie Patches.

Although Marty has written professionally this is her first children's book.

Marty lives in Naples, Florida and summer's in Chatham on Cape Cod, Massachusetts with her husband and all of her pets who travel together.
