About the Author

Diane Holloway Cheney, Ph.D., is a retired psychologist whose last position in Dallas, Texas, was as the City's Drug Czar. She was working at Parkland Hospital when President Kennedy was assassinated. She ran a travel agency in Europe before beginning her professional career. She belongs to the Authors Guild, American Psychological Association, International Society for Political Psychology, and the International Association for Chiefs of Police. Edgar Van Cott, M.S., was a "rocket scientist" for Raytheon and has done management consulting for electronic firms.
