Overview

Ever since the first astronauts traveled to space in the 1960s, scientists and engineers have worked hard to learn more about space travel. What kinds of spaceships will people use in the future? How will their needs be met during the long journey between Earth and some distant world? In this nonfiction graphic novel, Max Axiom and the Society of Super Scientists look for the answers to these questions and more as they learn about modern space tourism and the future of space travel.

About the Author

Nel Yomtov is an award-winning author of children's nonfiction books and graphic novels. He specializes in writing about history, current events, biography, architecture, and military history. He has written numerous graphic novels for Capstone, including the recent School Strike for Climate, Journeying to New Worlds: A Max Axiom Super Scientist Adventure, and Cher Ami: Heroic Carrier Pigeon of World War I. Daniel Pedrosa was born in Araraquara, a quiet town in the interior of São Paulo/Brazil and since he was a child he has always had artistic, philosophical and esoteric inclinations.
At the age of ten, his older brother gave him his first superhero comic (a Superboy edition from the 90's) and there he decided that drawing comics would be his profession. In 2010 he began his professional career doing comic strips for newspapers and drawing children's supplements for tabloids and magazines. Since then, his career began to expand and today the artist has publications for Criptozoik, Tildawave, Capstone, 137 Studios and produces advertising material for the largest Honda Motors store in Brazil.
