Overview

There is a wealth of writings on how Jesus is both God and man. The manhood and personality of Jesus is often stressed in these writings, and in multi-media. However, there is not a lot of current literature or multi-media depicting the otherness of Christ's nature, the fact that He remains fully God while interacting as a particular human. This study reflects on the kenosis or the emptying. What did Jesus give up to become a man, and continue to give up on the way to the cross?
