About the Author

Barry Adkins grew up in Kalispell, Montana. After graduating from high school, Barry worked on commercial fishing boats in Alaska until he moved to Arizona where he now resides with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Barry has shared with tens of thousands of people his experience of losing a child. He has been the featured speaker at numerous high schools, community events, and town hall meetings. Barry has also been featured in numerous media articles.
