Kishore Kumar is an ocean….the different kind of pearls, minerals and riches you can get in it are innumerable. I have to congratulate Anirudha and Parthiv for picking up some of the finest pearls and decorating them in this wonderful biography on Kishore da. It is such a detailed and a GRIPPING read, especially for the die-hard fans ( normal fans of KK who are not very much attached to his personal life, might find it TOO much detailed and boring ). It is the BEST to read this book first on Kindle because I find the EASE of toggling between the main text and the respective NOTES that you can read for each anecdote. My Gosh !! Amazing research work has gone behind to dive to get some very unknown pearls that the world has not seen so far. You cannot miss ANY word in any sentence/paragraph. In the blink of an eye you could be missing some of the most important aspect on his life and times. Especially the details of his childhood in Khandwa and Indore - it was nothing short of the highest form of ecstasy. I have just completed more than half of the book, but I feel like starting it over again and keep the rest for savoring it later. This book needs multiple reads to understand KK deeply. Pingle, K.C.
