About the Author

Ben Frankstone has been flying kites since he was a kid, and never stopped. He used to make his own paper kites then and was always been amazed by how they could stay up in the air. From a mere childhood pastime, kite-flying later became a passion for Ben. He has moved up to try other kinds of kites, finding challenge and enjoyment in every variety he flies. To top it up, Ben has also done kitesurfing, an extreme sport. With his knowledge and experience when it come to kites, Ben has decided to open up his very own online kite store so he could share his passion to fellow kite-flying enthusiasts.

What a friendly book this is! Very informative and simply written, this has been a huge help for me as my two kids have always asked me to buy kites for them. At least now, I have an idea on what types of kites to purchase, or even to personally make. When I showed the book to my kids, they became so excited and started reading about it too! I like the fact that it is so easy to read and it seems like people of all ages can relate to this. The images are also colorful and interesting!
