Overview

Елена Катишонок родилась в Латвии, закончила филологический факультет Латвийского Университета. В 1991 году эмигрировала в США, где и живёт до сих пор, преподает русский язык, занимается редакторской работой и переводами, пишет стихи. Дебютировала сборником стихов Блокнот (Hermitage Publishers, 2005). Спустя три года в соавторстве с Евгением Палагашвили выходит Охота на фазана - поразительный сплав мастерских фотографий со стихами, им созвучными (Graphics Publishing, 2008). Роман Елены Катишонок Жили-были старик со старухой в 2009 году вошёл в короткий список одной из самых престижных литратурных премий Русский букер.
