About the Author

Born in Chicago, Niki Mitchell moved to Whittier, California, as a first grader. Ironically, for most of her career she taught first grade students in Hesperia, California. Her cats are the inspiration for her Kurious Katz children’s book series.
A romantic at heart, Niki enjoys writing contemporary fantasy and time travel romance with strong females in unusual settings. Her hobbies are traveling, water aerobics, and reading.

I purchased the printed version for my son, He's an able reader,but finding books that interest him that aren't too difficult has been a challenge. This ticks all the boxes for him: real pictures of the author's actual cats, silliness, not to difficult to read, and not geared to girls. He had to stretch himself as a reader, but because it wasn't too frequent, he was never frustrated. He is wanting to read all of the books!
