La mariquita malhumorada (The Grouchy Ladybug)

In Eric Carle's classic picture book, we are introduced to the most irascible and irresistible of heroines. The Grouchy Ladybug didn't say "please" or "thank you." She didn't share. She thought she was better than everyone else. And she was always willing to pick a fight.

This fast-moving story invites children to explore the concepts of time, size, shape, and manners. Readers will laugh as they learn from this bad-tempered braggart who met her match and became a nicer, better-behaved bug.
