Overview

Jerry Fein is a small-time lawyer and booking agent, who also happens to own an apartment building in Boston. George V. Higgins was a journalist, lawyer, and novelist. Many of his novels were inspired by the seven years he spent working for the government in the war against organized crime in Boston. He is the author of Cogan’s Trade and The Digger’s Game. Magdalena Palmer has translated Higgins's Cogan's Trade, as well as Paradise Postponed and Titmuss Regained, among other books.
