Overview

In 1819, during the Tinkering Prince's Regency, Loveday Penhale is a young inventor living next door to the Trevelyan estate of Gwynn Place. Celeste Blanchard is a young French aeronaut running away from an unwanted marriage. When Celeste is blown off course during her escape and Loveday saves her life, they join forces against the technological might of Napoleon in a desperate attempt to save England from invasion.

Follow their adventures in the skies and the drawing room as they journey from England to France and back again, managing the intrigue of Napoleon's court, uncovering French spies in England, and then joining the most elite corps in England, the Prince's Own Engineers. Their ultimate goal? To develop an airborne fleet that will end Napoleon's dreams of conquering their homeland forever. And if love should find them along the way—what better choice could a landed gentleman make than a lady of the air?

This box set contains the Regent's Devices trilogy set in the Magnificent Devices steampunk world. It promises no strong language, the possibility of a very proper kiss, and a guaranteed happy ending of the trilogy. Enjoy!

About the Author

Shelley Adina is the author of more than 50 novels published by Harlequin, Warner, Hachette, and Moonshell Books, Inc., her own independent press. She writes steampunk adventure and mystery as Shelley Adina; as Charlotte Henry, writes classic Regency romance; and as Adina Senft, is the USA Today bestselling author of Amish women’s fiction. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Lancaster University in the UK, won RWA’s RITA Award® in 2005, and was a finalist in 2006. She appeared in the 2016 documentary film Love Between the Covers, is a popular speaker and convention panelist, and has been a guest on many podcasts, including Worldshapers and Realm of Books. When she’s not writing, Shelley is usually quilting, sewing historical costumes, or enjoying the garden with her flock of rescued chickens.

R.E. (Regina) Scott started writing novels in the third grade. Thankfully for literature as we know it, she didn’t sell her first novel until she learned a bit more about writing. Since her first book was published, her stories have traveled the globe, with translations in many languages, including Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese. She now has had published more than fifty works of warm, witty historical romance. Regina and her husband of more than 30 years reside in the Puget Sound area of Washington State on the way to Mt Rainier. She has dressed as a Regency dandy, learned to fence, driven four-in-hand, and sailed on a tall ship, all in the name of research, of course.
