Marcella Denise Spencer grew up in San Francisco reading Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books over and over again. Naturally, she writes historical fiction. Her favorite eras are ancient Egypt, Cush, and Regency England.
Spencer graduated with a BA in History from the University of California at Los Angeles. She lives in northern California, where she works as a teacher.
