About the Author

Bernard Spolsky was born and educated in New Zealand and has taught in New Zealand, Australia, England, Canada and Israel. His main publications are in the fields of educational linguistics and language policy. He retired from Bar-Ilan Universityas Professor emeritus in 2000 and has published half a dozen books since then.
