Le but de la prière est qu’il y ait une relation personnelle entre l’Éternel Tout-Puissant et le croyant. L’adoration a trait à la relation entre Dieu, le Tout-Puissant et le croyant. Ainsi, l’adoration est bel et bien une forme de prière.
Dans chaque relation, les deux parties sont impliquées. Dans l’adoration, Dieu agit et le croyant répond.

Aux temps de la Bible, c’était normal au Tout-Puissant de Se révéler aux Siens, et en réponse à cette révélation, ils se prosternaient et L’adoraient. De nos jours, il y a pénurie de cette révélation de Dieu qui conduit celui à qui Dieu Se révèle à se prosterner en adoration. Il y a plutôt beaucoup de bruit, mais très peu de gens qui connaissent au sujet de la présence manifeste de Dieu. C’est comme si nous adorons un Seigneur absent!
Le besoin d’être restauré au genre d’adoration biblique est évident partout dans le Corps de Christ. Ce livre est publié avec ce cri du cœur que le croyant vive à nouveau dans la présence immédiate de Dieu et L’adore à partir de cette présence immédiate. Par la grâce de Dieu, un deuxième livre, La Pratique de l’Adoration sera écrit dans l’avenir, pendant que ma propre expérience dans l’adoration sera approfondie et rehaussée.
Puisse le Seigneur utiliser ce livre pour susciter des adorateurs de Sa grande gloire et Son merveilleux Nom soit exalté, magnifié et honoré! Amen.
