David Pietrusza served as President of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) from 1993 through 1997. He is co-editor of Total Baseball, the official encyclopedia of Major League Baseball, a columnist for OldTyme Baseball News, the author of four other books on baseball, two juvenile books on basketball, and the managing editor of Total Football, the official encyclopedia of the NFL.
