Little Boy Blue and the Girl in the Moon: Romance In New York Book 1
Task seemed simple enough. All Romero Grant needed doing was visit our Deep-South, Alabama for being precise, scout out some sites, then report back. He did add one minor complexity. He'd travel by bicycle, as a homeless tramp. Still, southern folk are hospitable. They'd give him grand care. Wouldn't they? Romero Grant would visit Chicken processing plants, southern churches, and one very interesting, noteworthy, clothing optional, seed planting operation. Can we say bizarre? Romero truly finds the bizarre here. Here, he'd enter one whole new world and find his first true love. This tale's worth reading, just for finding out about this strange new world, and what his love looks like. It's now what you'd expect.

About the Author

My fictional novels are semi-autobiographical. Born in Vandergrift PA 25 minutes from Kittanning, my history is like Forest Gump. Kittanning was an important Lenape town in Western PA. Colonel Armstrong’s attack came, 4 hundred folks living there. Easton Treaty regarding this was signed in 1758. Easton is where our Independence Declaration was first read.

Grew up in Levittown PA. Visited William Penn Mansion, just like Forest Gump visited history. Also, was greatly influenced by Quaker religion, Levittown amidst Quaker country.

Watched MLK’s Have a Dream Speech, on TV. Likewise, Kennedy’s assassination report. Visited Lincoln’s Memorial, just like Gump. Sailor, just like President Kennedy, but as Hospital Corpsman. This included in that very room Kennedy had his autopsy done. Visited Philadelphia’s historical sites while at Bethesda. In New York’s International Naval Review, July 4, 1976.

Alma mater is Kent State University, where history was made.

My life took me visiting all these places and they are mentioned in my novels. If you desire learning American History from common folk’s vantage point, these novels are for you. Reviews include:

This novel follows a twenty-first century macho business owner as he gets lost in the forest and ends up "on the other side of the hill" in a society run by women and devoted to living in harmony with the earth. The creative use of multiple languages, historical references, and upturning of American male competitive techno-centric culture is refreshing and challenging. Footnotes, and a calendar help orient the reader in this new world sensitive to the rhythms of nature.
