Overview

Four young women, with four very different dreams.

Behind them lies a childhood of poverty and hardshipyet one that is enriched by a loving mother and supportive friends. Ahead lie obstaclesand opportunitiesfar greater than they ever imagined.

Will they learn to use their gifts wisely and well? Can they turn their challenges and fears into success and happiness?

And will they find the strength, courage, passion, and hope within themselves to make their dreams a reality?

Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888) was an American novelist and poet best known as the author of the novel Little Women and its sequels Little Men and Jo's Boys. Little Women is loosely based on Alcott's childhood experiences with her three sisters.
