About the Author

Dori Chaconas was born and raised in Wisconsin, where childhood summer vacations were spent on her grandparents' farms in Phillips. She still returns there to celebrate family reunions and she still holds her nose in cow barns. She is the author of seven books for children and lives with her husband in Wisconsin.
