This book is a narrative, and personal outlet for me. I was born in Utica upstate New York in 1962, and moved to beautiful South Florida in 1975. My parents were the love of my life. They had five kids, and I was the youngest out of four older brothers. Since young age, I just knew I was different, but being surrounded by a loving family, I was very happy. As I grew older, I identified as a woman. That was my secret that I held onto for the longest time possible. My inner struggle started to spiral out of control. I lost my soul, no one to turn to and nowhere to go. I felt all alone. A disturbed mental state, social anxiety, and gender dysphoria started creeping in. Distorting my life in so many ways. From not being able to focus in school, ongoing years of self harming, drug and alcohol abuse, and promiscuous sex, but worst of all, my failed relationships. Listening to rock n roll music became my coping mechanism, it soothed my soul. But Writing my lyrics and poems in my own subliminal way was the best therapy. "I Only Wanted to be 16 and Free." So let my journey begin!
