Lottie
Oh, no! Rose is back! If Lottie isnt having enough trouble being a newlywed and taking on her duties as the first female African American Senator in her native state of Alabama, her sister Rose is trying to make the moves on her husband, Chaney. Rose has had a crush on Chaney since high school, and it looks like shes not done yet. And in spite of her love for her community and her political pursuits, Lottie has to learn to open her heart and fight for her family. Family, however, is not always what it seemsfamily is the people who love us.
Lottie, the third book in the Lottie Series, follows the murder mystery in Pickin Ground, and the story of personal and community redemption in In Due Season. Lottie explores the fulfillment of marital love that overcomes selfish ambition, political corruption, and family pain. There is no love like married love!

About the Author

Jeanetta Britt is an award-winning author who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fisk University and finished Top Ten with a Masters degree from The University of Michigan. Her passion for writing contemporary Christian Fiction novelsfilled with juicy drama and suspenseas well as, Gospel poetry surfaced in 1996 and has grown steadily since that time. While being swept up in the story, Jeanetta says, I want my readers to feel the love of Jesus and find refuge in Him, like I did.
After completing a 30-year career in public administration in Dallas, Texas, Jeanetta returned to her native Alabama to write and live. Her southern roots are reflected in her imagery, characters, and delightfully witty storytelling style. She is a sought-after inspirational speaker, by youth and adults alike, with five novels and five books of poetry to her credit. Her latest novelnumber sixis under construction.
Jeanetta is also an avid gardener, and she founded Twelve Stones CDCa non-profit organization that operates two community gardens in rural Alabama. We provide free, fresh food for our community and an opportunity for our youth and senior citizens to get some free exercise, companionship and sunshine, too, she says. No rulesjust love!
