This sixth edition is a synopsis of patient care for low back pain. This is a tool to update chiropractic clinicians on the current diagnostic and therapeutic research surrounding the condition of low back pain. This wealth of knowledge will assist all clinicians in their strides towards improved patient care and clinical outcomes. Each of the sixteen chapters is authored by an expert in the field of chiropractic. These authors include both chiropractic field practitioners and academics. Topics covered include but are not limited to the biomechanics of the spine, physical examination and laboratory evaluation of patients with low back pain, rehabilitation, and psychological aspects of patients with low back pain. All chapters include referenced information along with many graphs, figures, and algorithms for added understanding and quick reference. Of particular interest is the chapter on diagnosis of the low back and leg pain patient.
