Overview

Thump Records updates its popular Lowrider Oldies series with Lowrider Oldies Chrome, an identical series of compilations highlighting R&B and soul classics. The sixth volume features the Vanguards' "Somebody Please," the Penguins' "Earth Angel," the Dramatics' "In the Rain," the Jaguars' "Where Lovers Go," the Crests' "Sixteen Candles," and the Five Satins' "In the Still of the Night," in addition to several others.
