Lulu Meets the King of Poo
Lulu Meets the King of Poo introduces young children to this miracle universe inside themselves: gut microbes and their vital connection to their health. Even precocious 3 year olds are fascinated with this story with the clever rhyming, beautiful illustrations, and humor.
Lulu is anxious about her science report- so anxious it's given her a tummy ache! She falls asleep, to have an amazing dream- she swallows herself!
Emily Enzyme takes her on an 'incredible digestible' tour. In the small intestine Lulu and Abby dance the Acidophilus Hula. In the colon she meets Benny Bifidus, the King of Poo. How does she get back?! That is for you to find out. (Hint: Stanley Stem Cell has something to do with it.)

My second book is a Graphic Novel for children 8-10+ on healthy and unhealthy food choices titled "Lulu How Do You? How Do You What? Be Good to Your Gut!"
I'm currently working on the third book on childhood obesity, an obese boy who kicks the soda and sweet habit.

About the Author

Jan Maximov Condon is an occupational therapist with a keen interest in nutrition for wellness.
Her passion to share the importance of gut microbes came from personal experience: the overuse of antibiotics in childhood and the problems, it led to.
Around middle-age, I suffered from skin, rashes, weight, loss, cloudy, sinking, and a lack of energy. No doctor I visited, addressed my gut as the source of my problems. Fortunately, I found the local Weston, a Price, chapter with nutrient, dense and fermented foods from the gaps diet, my gut healed in three months. I will always be grateful to those kind and knowledgeable people.
Jan and her husband Frank enjoy an active lifestyle with jogging, swimming, yoga, and weight workouts.
They live in Chico, California.
