About the Author

Juan Mari Ruiz is an oboist and teacher with more than thirty years of experience. He collaborates with various orchestras and teaches courses and masterclasses on the oboe and the pedagogy of the instruments. He regularly publishes articles on these topics in specialized magazines and on his website juanmariruiz.com, and on his YouTube channel where he offers a complete series of videos on the technique and study of the oboe. He is the author of the books Learning Woodwind Instruments and Instrumental Technique Applied to Pedagogy, published by this same publisher.
