Overview

Meet Macaroni Mouse! He's not only cute – he's confident and assertive.

He lives on a farm where other animals bully him. But instead of responding with anger and fear, Mac wants to understand others better.

Ultimately, he realizes that the other farm animals are mean because they are unhappy. And they are unhappy because they do not like themselves.

Mac discusses this with his family. Together they develop a plan to help all the animals recognize that each one is precious and has a particular purpose.

Macaroni's large family is loving and supportive. Because of this, he has learned to be compassionate and kind. And since they are a happy, united family, they help to change the entire farm community into its own little "Happy Town."

Pat has always loved books and writing. She enjoys participating with her friends in writer groups and book clubs.

She holds a BA from the University of Maryland and an MS from George Washington University. She and her husband established PMR Communications Group in 2003. They live in Virginia.
