Filipina writer Ces Degamo's first poetry and prose book (in Tagalog and English) explores the poetic nature of language, translating it from the heart. Through the author's own wanderings, she offers a view of the world through her own glasses-tackling topics like love, heartbreak, dejection, family, friendships and self-love. More importantly, she delves on timely social issues that trouble the world: things like human trafficking, bullying, dysfunctional families and the COVID-19 pandemic. She even creates her take on one of Aesop's fables: The Wolf and the Lamb.
