It's a baby/children's book for mothers to establish a relationship with their child no matter how old the child may be. The book is about a hen who lays an egg. Not knowing the gender of the egg, Mama Hen reads to baby egg every night and reminds baby egg every day that she will be there for baby egg regardless of what it chooses to do or be in life such as a football player, ballerina, nurse, superhero, police officer, etc. Each time one of these subjects is mentioned, baby egg is shown dressed as the subject. Before the end of the book there is an illustration of a plain egg in the nest where the mother or child can draw on the egg and make baby egg personal. In the beginning of the book there is also a To and From page with enough space to write a memorable message for your child to cherish for the rest of their life.
