Maneuvers
As an international student, Jake Dawson finds himself in the middle of a political overthrow. The status quo is challenged, and the seditionists take control of the economic engines of society. Jake defies the shifting landscape, ignores the cancellation of his visa, and remains with his friends to stop the transformation of the foreign culture he's come to love.
A man of power and influence, with whom Jake shares a common interest, clashes with his ideology. Their crossing paths force Jake to challenge his moral values and decide how far into the dark conflict he will travel. He knows his lone journey will change the lives of those around him. Does he have the right to do so?
While he's aware his action may help his friends, he fails to see the drastic change he'll force upon of his own life. His maneuvering will shift not only the landscape of the country, but the history of their entire world.

About the Author

Mark Wilkinson graduated from high school in Spring, Texas then attended Utah State University where he earned a bachelors’ degree in computer science and a masters’ degree in electrical engineering. While doing this, he served in the USAF Reserves. Toward the end of his formal education, he began developing Universe, The Sci-Fi RPG, which was later published.
In his career, Mark principally worked in spacecraft avionics systems. In addition to working in industry, he was a design engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and at the National Reconnaissance Office — Martians and spooks.
Mark is a devout Christian and has volunteered much time to the Boy Scouts of America and the Civil Air Patrol. In addition to being an amateur author, he is an amateur radio operator, Jeep mechanic, shooting sports instructor, and game designer. He enjoys backpacking and tabletop role-playing games with his family and friends.
Following complex maneuvering, Mark convinced a brilliant rocket scientist, Kristen, to marry him. They have four children: Iliana, Drake, Adelaide, and Dane, who are each a lot more clever than their father.
