About the Author

Dr. Eleanor Wint is a retired Professor of Social Work, a social activist, author of books for kids and parents and a proud grandmother. Her work has taken her across Canada, USA, Africa and the Caribbean. She loves to share her knowledge from working with families and communities. She uses her books and blogs to build self-confidence in children and parents/caregivers. It is not surprising that as a #1 new release author, her books are written to reach readers from all walks of life and cultures.
As she puts it, “there are many parents out there who just need guidance and reassurance. Parenting can be learnt”.
Dr. Wint feels that being an involved grandmother has brought her closer to the problems parents are facing.

Annu Yah Kahdi Stewart, born October 31, recently moved to reside in Falmouth, Trelawny in Jamaica. Annu’s father is a poet and recording artiste while his mother is a cultural heritage enthusiast. Annu is home-schooled with his older brother. He has his own You tube channel “Star Seed Annu Talks” where he reflects on Garvey’s teachings from an everyday perspective. Annu believes that adults should listen to children “because children do have great ideas sometimes”. He also believes that adults should “use up” their imagination more.
