Marshland Trinity comprises three stories from the Cajun experience of the 1950s from the points of view of an aged trapper pursuing a mass murderer through the marshes, an adolescent discovering the joys and responsibilities of adulthood and uncovering a family secret and a young boy caught up in family drama, scandal and unexpected repercussions in the age of McCarthyism at the hottest moment of the Cold War, Korea. It is a book about the bonds of family, cultural background and the coping mechanisims of humor, dedication, stoicism, acceptance and love.

About the Author

Chris Segura has labored as a journalist and author for nearly four decades on five continents. He has also been (among other things) a hunting dog trainer, trapper, lifeguard, District (Boy) Scout executive, private investigator, U.S. Marine, welder's helper, deckhand, fixed-wing pilot and helicopter washman, and a field support customer service representative for a large helicopter company. Today he lives and writes in Abbeville, Louisiana, where he was born.
