About the Author

Chris Segura has labored as a journalist and author for nearly four decades on five continents. He has also been (among other things) a hunting dog trainer, trapper, lifeguard, District (Boy) Scout executive, private investigator, U.S. Marine, welder's helper, deckhand, fixed-wing pilot and helicopter washman, and a field support customer service representative for a large helicopter company. Today he lives and writes in Abbeville, Louisiana, where he was born.
