Overview

————————————————————

When Martín starts talking, he doesn't stop. He talks all the time, continuously, he always has something to say, even in his dreams!

Martín talks and talks and talks, non-stop. He sings songs, recites tongue twisters and answers all the teacher's questions. He sometimes speaks when he should and sometimes when he shouldn't. And so, people around him start wishing he would occasionally stop. And they wish for it so much that one morning Martín wakes up… without his voice! What's wrong with Martín?

About the Author

Carmen Mateo was born in Seville (Spain) in 1982. She is a psychologist who uses children's literature as a tool with her patients and as a moment for family enjoyment. Although her professional career started in Psychology, she soon crossed paths with stories, as a fan and, later, as their author. She likes to talk and be talked to, and with Martín Parlanchín, a very chatty boy, she debuts in NubeOcho.

Marisa Morea is a children’s books illustrator. After graduating in Creative Illustration at Eina School in Barcelona, Spain, in 2009, she returned to Madrid to work as an art director in various advertising agencies while receiving her first illustration commissions, including various international publishers. In 2013 she decided to quit advertising to fully dedicate herself to illustration. Since then she has worked with publishers such as Simon and Schuster, Nosy Crow, SM or Penguin Random House.
