Mary's Song a mother's story
This is a story about the mother of Jesus. So many stories of Mary are lofty and surreal. The truth that I bring to life is her humanity and her complete and profound faith; and her reliance and love for Joseph, both which help her to follow God's Will. This story is the perfect example of the importance of love and of family.

The story begins with the arrangement of the marriage between Mary and Joseph. Then I continue with the angel's visit. I imagine what it was like for Mary; the fear and the ecstasy that moment brought to her; and Joseph's reaction and hesitation.

For eighteen chapters I provide a window into this holy woman's life; Mary's joy, her sorrows, her deep admiration and devotion to her son. This is a very human story about Mary and her family and their very divine mission.

I've kept the story flowing and descriptive; but to the point. This makes this novel an easy read, which hopefully will be re read in difficult times to encourage the reader when they feel discouraged.

When I look at the gospels through Mary's eyes I truly see the courage and absolute trust in God, that we are called to have as Christians.

About the Author

In high school my teacher told me to consider a career in writing. It took me 35 years to produce my first book. Raising two kids and struggling to make ends meet; put my writing on hold for more realistic aspirations. I came up with the idea for this book in the 80’s and actually even started to write it. It fell by the wayside for twenty-five years. Having lost the original manuscript, I was surprised at how much I remembered of it and how it was truly a part of my psyche. I hope that you will enjoy this simple story about an extraordinary mother. When I look at the gospels through Mary’s eyes I truly see the courage and absolute trust in God, that we are called to have as Christians.
