Overview

Most of us prefer everything to be stable. Stagnant. Stationary. We don't like trying out new things; we fear that something might go downhill if we try something new.
A little addition or subtraction from our daily routine causes us stress. We, humans, are built that way. We always think about how everything might affect us negatively first.
Change; we don't like it. We fear it, but that doesn't stop it from coming. So, we either adapt to it, or we get left behind. And even though we think about how much it might backfire at us, sometimes, change is actually good.
So, how do you know that you want to change? How do you become sure? How do you know that at this very moment, you want to start something new?
At the very core, all it takes is a decision. And that might be the most difficult thing of all. Deciding to do something.
But here's the thing. You are the controller of your mind. You are the owner, and you are the decider. Unless you are willing or unwilling to do something, you will never be able to do it.
Think about the last time you did something new. How did you feel when you came to know that you might have to try something different for a change? How did you feel knowing that something in your routine might be changing?
Most definitely, there were a lot of emotions involved. From being scared to being unclear about what to do, there must have been several instances where you would have thought to just give up on the idea.
