Overview

The revolution of 1910 led to the defeat of President José de la Cruz Porfirio Díaz Mori and the rise of President Francisco Ignacio Madero González. President Francisco Ignacio Madero González does not fulfill the promises that he made which lead to the rise of unhappy participants on the winning side. In the north, General Pascual Orozco Vázquez fights the federal government with the help of the rich landowners. While in the south, General Emiliano Zapata Salazar fights for land and liberty from the federal government's control. A military coup occurs in which President Francisco Ignacio Madero González is assassinated on orders of General José Victoriano Huerta Márquez. The assassin assumes the post of president of México. Now another figure declares a war against him, forming the Revolution of Venustiano Carranza (ReVeCa) to avenge the death of President Francisco Ignacio Madero González.

A cast of characters must deal with this new event. Illuminata knows that the rebels are responsible for the death of her dear boyfriend and brother as she defends the hacienda from their attacks. Tadeo is seeking a new adventure to combat boredom at work. Paloma is trying to get her husband's family to give her the things that her husband left for her. Fulgencia is a smart woman who has to disguise her identity in order to serve in the rebel army. Agustin has always led the troops and does not enjoy any changes to his attack plans.
