Middle child syndrome is one's belief that they are mostly excluded, ignored, or even outright neglected because they were born as the middle child. The middle child characteristically feels overshadowed by the older and younger siblings. The older sibling in this case is outgoing, smart, beautiful, and independent. While the younger sibling has the same characteristics, me as the middle child has the same characteristics as well. For whatever reason, I have always had that feeling of being overshadowed. Being the middle child sometimes feels like I am being left out. This is my story.....
