Overview

In the blink of an eye, her life was catapulted into survival of the fittest. The plane she had taken to get back home to her parents, crashed in the middle of the Boreal Forest. Unfortunately for her, the weather was daunting on the edge of winter. She understood the pressure of surviving on her own was slim. She tried to survive off of little food, water, and clothing the plane had left her. To her knowledge, she was the only survivor. She had no recollection of the crash, or what happened moments before; she didn't even know who she was. All she knew was she was all alone. Or was she?

About the Author

Katiey LeClerc was born in Essex, Connecticut. She moved down to Virginia when she was 5 and a half years old. She always had a vivid imagination and regularly played games that had her as the lead role. When she was older, Katiey wrote many short stories. Her teachers often invited her to read them to the class as they were mesmerized by the young Katiey’s work. Other times teachers implored her to submit her works to competitions. When Katiey was grown, she found her way back to her creative passion of writing and finally finished writing her first novel, “Miles on End”. This is one of the books her teachers have loved since high school. Katiey continues writing and exploring her passions.
