Mindset of Spirit is a book examining the decision of the Individual as the fundamental dynamic in all the course of humanity. It defines this dynamic in modular terms with emphasis on brain circuitry balance as determinant of these decisions. The book contends that the future course of humanity is to be one of our species' further self-destruction, even to the point of extinction. And if there is ever to be effective prevention of such demise, then this can happen only by modulation of its fundamental process, the decision of the Individual. The circuitry model represents a way to understand this decision process and hence mechanisms for influencing it for the existential benefit of Mankind. This understanding is based in evidence from various areas of study presented holistically: neuroscience, philosophy/theology, evolution/genetics, developmental science, psychology, sociology, etc. Mindset of Spirit is presented as primer with the intent of initiating a broad dialogue, whereby we can establish hope for the lives of those coming after us.
