Grace had a near-death experience (NDE) following a riding accident, which ignited a series of paranormal experiences of apparitions and dreams of another reality set in the Middle Ages that she is unable to control.
She finds herself identifying with the central character, Beth, gradually unravelling synchronicities and parallels mirrored in both realities, resulting in the startling realisation that it was her in another lifetime. Karmically entwined, both are faced with a common dilemma, though due to the cultural beliefs of the different time periods, with varying consequences. Both find themselves caught in a whirlpool of drama that could result in fateful consequences.
