Two very different woman but connected by blood. An Aunt and her niece. The niece is in her early 30's and enjoys backcountry living. The Aunt has never camped and will not, but wants to experience the Grand Canyon. A compromise is reached. The book takes you from the initial reservations through the 10 day journey. Each day of the journey you will learn about the experience- both good and not so much. But you will be entertained even if you never plan on hiking the Grand Canyon.
