Overview

Bridget used to believe in things like fairytales and the magic of Christmas. Since her dad’s death and the string of bad luck that followed, it’s been a struggle to stay positive, let alone get in the holiday spirit.

The bright spots in her life are her mom, her best friend Ivy, and her job. Oh, and David. He doesn’t count, though, because he’s Bridget’s boss, and despite having a secret crush on him for the last three years, he’s off limits.

But then a few weeks before Christmas, David calls Bridget into his office and asks her for a favor: he needs a plus one to the company’s fancy festive ball and wants her to accompany him. Maybe it’s time for Bridget to start believing in fairytales and Christmas magic again...
