Who really thinks it's a good idea to walk on a dimly lit street at midnight, just because they're hungry and tired of Ramen? That would be Katherine O'Brian. She lives in Reno NV where most places are open twenty-four hours and she can clearly see the Open sign flashing at the diner three blocks from her apartment. What could go wrong? Plenty.

Imagine you're walking briskly toward that sign, when you happen to glance over at an open garage and see a man placing a dead body into the trunk of his car. What do you do? Well, you run of course. When Katherine meets Scott Mitchell, sparks fly--but for various reasons, all good, instead of exploring their attraction they both decide to just be friends. Fine by Katherine because the very last thing she's looking for is romance or drama, but suddenly it's raining men and suddenly she's accident prone--or is something else going on?

Mocha, Moonlight, and Murder is book one of an eight book (so far) series, and each book gets better and better. You can read the books on their own and not get lost, but they're best read in order because most of the characters are in all the books. You will grow to love them all
